FTC4390 – Engineering Notebook

Thursday/Oct/10/13

The goal of the day was to test the flag raiser.
Electrical wired up the motor and tested it. It worked! The speed was pretty fast, but not fast enough to cause the pegs to slip off the flag crank.

We also started planning the pit and stand scouting sheets.  Scouting is important for our team to understand how to collaborate with other teams.  The sheets will be looked at throughout the competition to gauge competitors and alliance partners abilities.  They will be used to select alliance partners during the finals.

The next step is to build the pvc flag crank so we can do further testing.
